The album Seven Songs is the story of seven sacraments and the power that can be found in the rhythm of a ritual and the rhyme of remembrance.  Singer/Songwriter Amanda Opelt reflects on the experience of faith and doubt, death and resurrection through lyric and melody, calling attention to the ancient rituals embedded in the history of church.

Written and recorded in the mountains of western North Carolina, Seven Songs is the effort of a community of musicians and artists seeking to creatively express the longing inherent in each of the sacraments: the hunger for new life, healing, and harvest.
